Copper Hills Boys Basketball tryouts begin Monday, November 9, 2026. Every student must complete Register My Athlete before attending.

All students interested in trying out must complete registration through Register My Athlete before attending tryouts.

No physical or fees are required before tryouts.Athletes do not need a physical or need to pay program fees until after team selections are finalized.

Tryout schedule

Know your session.

Bring printed first-quarter grades to your opening session. All sessions are held at Copper Hills High School.

Varsity + JV

2:35–5:00 PM

  1. Opening session · Bring printed grades
  2. Invitation callback

Some players will be invited back for Tuesday. Final team selections will be announced following Tuesday's tryouts.

Sophomore + Freshman

5:00–7:00 PM

  1. Opening session · Bring printed grades
  2. Invitation callback
  3. If necessary

Some players may be invited back for Tuesday and/or Wednesday. Final team selections are expected Tuesday evening.

After tryouts

What comes next.

Mandatory parent meeting

Required for parents of every player selected to a team.

First full practice

Wednesday practice for players selected to the program.

Varsity practice

Saturday morning varsity practice.
