Jersey #20 · Point Guard · 2015-2017

After high school I went on a mission to the Texas Houston East mission. When I returned in 2020, I started school at UVU. Initially, I was pursuing digital marketing, and then I transitioned to graphic design. I then decided I wanted to transfer to BYU and pursue something else, and I landed on marketing. In 2022, I met my future wife, and we got married in 2024. I recently graduated with my degree in marketing, and my wife and I are the proud parents of a 7 month old.

Now in Orem, UT

Basketball highlights

Playing basketball at Copper Hills and with my group of guys gave me some of the best memories. We played fast and shared the ball, and I think we had one of the most team-centric teams to come through Copper Hills during my time there. I always felt like I was the coach on the court and facilitated how well our team performed. I was a pass-first point guard, but since have developed a bit more of a desire to create my own shot. Loved being a point guard for Copper Hills.

Education & career

Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the BYU Marriott School of Business

Favorite Copper Hills memory

It's hard to choose really, but I loved any time our JV squad beat the varsity squad in anything in practices. I also loved when we beat the Bingham sophomore team at home during my freshman year. I broke my defenders ankles on one of the last plays of the game and then had the game winning assist to Callahan at the buzzer. It was pretty electric. But I just loved becoming really good at the details with my team my sophomore and junior seasons.

Advice for current Grizzlies

Remember that life is about more than being a good basketball player, and that eventually high school sports fade away and aren't important. What is important, while you are a player and when you aren't, is to be a good person. Represent your family, friends, alumni, and yourself well. Be respectful, act with wisdom, be a good teammate and winner/loser, and treat everyone around you well.
